Still have some of that holiday ham left over? With a food processor and a few ingredients you probably already have in your refrigerator whip up this classic ham salad that is perfect for sandwiches, as a spread for crackers or for filling celery stalks.
In this recipe I used 2 cups of ham that was coarsely ground in my processor, but the recipe is very flexible and can easily be doubled for a bigger batch.
Classic Ham Salad
2 cups coarsely ground ham
½ cup mayonnaise
2 heaping teaspoons sweet pickle relish
1 very finely minced green onion
